Information 

Located in the Aquitaine region, the sixth-largest economic region of France, with 3 million inhabitants and more than 150,000 companies, the Dordogne is the third-largest French department, renowned for its savoir vivre and exceptional surroundings. The Dordogne is traditionally known as the Perigord, with its districts known by the colors that symbolize its important features.Le Bugue is in the most sort after "golden triangle" of the Perigord Noir (noir because of the dark oaks and truffles) . The two other towns demarking this triangle are Sarlat, a spectacular medieval city, and Montignac, best known the prehistoric paintings in the Lascaux caves.

Le Bugue is a picturesque and active market town, situated about 45 minutes by car from Sarlat, from Perigueux, and from Bergerac airport. The town offers full amenities for residents and tourists of all ages and offers convenient bus and rail services.
